Academy of Finland mobility funding to Marko Jurmu
The Academy of Finland has granted mobility funding to MediaTeamīs doctoral student Marko Jurmu for his one-year visit to Japan in 2012-2013.
Marko Jurmu will visit the renowned Professor in ubiquitous computing, Hideyuki Tokuda, at the Keio University, Tokyo.
The research collaboration will focus on the dynamic ownership of interactive public displays.
Jurmuīs PhD thesis supervisor is Professor Jukka Riekki. His collaboration with the Japanese host-University has been active for several years now.
Academy of Finlandīs mobility funding is intended to promote the international interaction of Finnish researchers and the internationalization of Finnish research environments.
