Oulu University Scholarship Foundation and Ulla Tuominen Foundation Grants to Otso Kassinen
MediaTeam researcher Otso Kassinen received a 4000 EUR grant from Oulu University Scholarship Foundation and a 2500 EUR grant from Ulla Tuominen Foundation.
Kassinen's doctoral thesis deals with middleware solutions for hybrid and mobile peer-to-peer systems, having focus on session and data management. The supervisor of the thesis is Professor Mika Ylianttila.
Kassinen has worked at MediaTeam since 2004. He obtained the M. Sc. degree in Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering of the University of Oulu in 2007.
Oulu University Scholarship Foundation was founded in 1960 and its purpose is to support and promote activity within the sphere of the University of Oulu and its student union. Ulla Tuominen Foundation, founded in 1990, aims to promote the research and vocational education of electrical technology and other related fields.
